Morning all,
I am writing this story in a rather chilly hay barn where I have been playing hide and seek with my two cousins Scarlett, aged 3, and Freddie, aged 5, for the last hour.
I had thought this would be a relatively simple and peaceful game but no, Freddie has an imagination like you would not believe. It took me ages to hunt him down which, in a hay barn, is quite something in itself and where do you think the little rascal was?
Curled up in a small ball underneath a small mountain of loose hay which he had instructed Scarlet to put on top of him and he would still be there right now if he had not suddenly screamed when a mouse ran right over his toes.
Freddie was so frightened he jumped about ten feet up into the air while the mouse just carried on with its journey as though walking over a pair of feet which then make the LOUDEST noise possible was not an every day occurence!
Although, it does serve the little rascal right for trying to be cleverer than me!!!!
Until next time, froglettes,
E
