Good morning froglettes,

Well , the snow and the cold wind has continued which has had a very serious affect on a frog’s supply of food which – let me tell you, froglettes – is a serious business! As you know, worm sandwiches are my absolute favourite food of all but when it snows and the ground is frozen for weeks on end, it is impossible to get any of them out of the ground. I kept a supply in case of emergencies but I had no idea that this emergency – the snow – would go on so long and it is still there, outside my window, right now. The days are just crawling by and go on forever. Even the spiders and flies have vanished into thin air along with Herring Gull Harry and Teacup. Oh, how I miss the taste of my worm sandwiches. I even found myself dreaming about them last night, it’s that bad.

Every morning, I wake up hoping that the wind will disappear, the rain return and the snow thaw but no such chance yet. Oh well, maybe tomorrow and in the meantime…it is yet another meal of dry flies – yuck.
