Morning all,
Herring Gull Harry and I have just found a new hobby for half-term – frog-o-leaping. This is leaping up and down on cobwebs attached to small bushes and branches making funny shapes in the air.
Herring Gull Harry and I started off by leaping up and down in the middle of the cobweb and then we started sitting down on the cobweb and standing up again while carrying on leaping. We made star shapes in the air and lots of different other shapes like leaping statues, rabbits, fish and teapots. I stopped at one point to get my red scarf and used it as a prop when making the shapes and tied it around my tummy.
Well, with my confidence at an all time high, I decided to try a leaping somersault in the air. The first somersault worked so I did another one and then another one and then I thought I would just do another one, a little bit higher this time and ended up attached to a branch just above my head on the bush courtesy of my scarf.
Drat. I thought I could wiggle free without Herring Gull Harry noticing my predicament but I was out of luck. It didn’t take long for him to notice I was no longer leaping on the cobweb and then he looked up and laughed when he saw me stuck to this branch. In fact, everyone seemed to be laughing at my conundrum as I wriggled free with my bottom in the air.
I was so glad when I finally fell through the air and back onto the safety of the cobweb
See ya,
E
